Pia is a local Moreton Bay artist who has lived across the region for over a decade, previously in Brisbane. She is an active advocate for bringing the benefits of arts engagement into the community. She is an interdisciplinary artist who has exhibited across Queensland and Australia since 2005. She makes art as a human need to express herself when other forms of communication cannot provide the same result.

Following an intense period as a practicing artist around her studies, her following life cycle shifted with pressing priorities that includes becoming a mother and overcoming cancer. Now with another shift in time, the flow of energy is being directed towards self exploration and connection to the world through reconnecting with her art practice, which also includes making art with community.

Her art practice explores personal and collective memory, loss, loneliness, connection, architecture, journeys, design, and the built and natural environments.
